Life is hectic, but for each of us there is a moment of discovery. For me, it started with an idea, an idea to make something better, an idea to make a change. That's when it came to me, let's make a medical scrub that was functional, comfortable, and protective. The idea came to light when I was working a long night shift at a busy Trauma Center. I

realized my scrubs could not keep up with the demands a fast paced twelve hour shift put on my uniform. Then, with the help of some of the top professionals in the industry, we started with many sketches, designs, and fabric, searching for that perfect material blend to make a uniform that worked for us, not against us.

At FIT Scrubs®, we took an old idea and designed a new concept in medical scrubs. These scrubs are comfortable, performance-driven, and have a permanent silver embedded antimicrobial fabric with

moisture wicking properties that has been clinically proven against hospital associated infections like MRSA and Staph, upon fabric contact. No more do we need to fear the embarrassment of sweat stains, wrinkles, and odor causing bacteria. These innovative FIT Scrubs® have the same material properties to keep you dry, comfortable, and fresh - just like all that popular athletic apparel gear that we love to wear.

FIT Scrubs® Founder

Arthur has been working in the medical field for the last 14 years. Beginning his career in the United States Air Force as a trained Special

Operations Medic, he went on to serve his community in Los Angeles County as a Nationally Registered Paramedic. From 2005 till 2013 he worked primarily in an Emergency Department setting as an ED Paramedic and began instructing Emergency Medicine to corporate clients as an independent contractor. In 2014, Arthur made the entrepreneurial commitment to see a side project of his finally come to life. FIT Scrubs® was inspired while Arthur was working in the trenches at one

one LA's busiest Trauma Centers. Coming from a team driven, performance oriented Spec Ops background where depending on his gear and uniform was paramount, he came to the realization that today's scrubs needed to be functional, protective, long lasting and comfortable - all features his medical uniform grossly lacked. As a result, FIT Scrubs® was created in the Emergency Department and Arthur has passionately pursued his goal in developing the medical scrub of the future.

For the last two years, Arthur has helped design his apparel to meet today's increasingly demanding healthcare environment by communicating the wants and needs that our modern health care professionals desire within a medical uniform, and working side by

Side with designers, textile engineers and microbiologists alike, in order to see his concept come to fruition. Furthermore, in order to ensure the greatest protection for his colleagues, FIT Scrubs® has partnered with PurThread Technologies® in order to create an antibacterial performance fabric that has been clinically proven to kill

hospital associated infections (MRSA, Staph) upon fabric contact. Final samples have been completed and Project FIT® is currently preparing to launch in late May via KickStarter.

Arthur lives in Los Angeles, with his wife, Carrie, and their two children. He is a Nationally Registered Paramedic and has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Communications from Cal State University of Northridge.
